Using Toweling to Make a Table Runner:

 

100 percent cotton toweling by the yard makes a great wool appliqué background for runners, pillows, totes, and more!  Because the long sides are hemmed, you only need to hem the short edges! I do recommend prewashing if you are making a project that may need to be laundered at some point.

 

Very simple double turn hem!
